Motorcycle Courier Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Motorcycle Courier Specialist to join our team at Australia Post. As a Motorcyclist, you will be responsible for delivering mail and small parcels in the heart of your community.

• As a member of our team, you will work autonomously on the road, interacting with customers and being part of a cohesive unit.
• You will be operating a motorcycle and delivering to homes and businesses in various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sort and load mail and parcels onto your vehicle at the facility
2. Conduct daily vehicle safety checks to ensure safe operation
3. Deliver to customers throughout the day, navigating through various locations
4. Work collaboratively with colleagues and experienced Rider Mentors for professional development

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

• A valid Australian motorcycle license
• The ability to pass a mandatory riding assessment
• Flexibility to work additional hours as required
• A great memory, excellent attention to detail, and physical ability to lift up to 16kgs regularly
• Ability to meet our safe working load limit of 100kgs or less
