About the Role

Cement Australia is seeking a skilled Sales and Business Development Professional to join our team.

Job Description

  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities through existing and new customers.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, acting as the link between customers and Cement Australia's technical and production staff.
  • Research and gather market intelligence, reporting and acting on key findings.
  • Achieve sales targets and KPIs.
  • Play a key role in customer negotiations, winning new customers and customer complaint resolution.
  • Manage customer projects end to end, from initial lead to first delivery.

About You

  • You have previous experience in sales, business development or account manager roles, ideally in the waste or related industries. We are also open to recent university graduates.
  • You have a natural ability to build rapport and great relationships with customers, and you aren't afraid to get in front of them.
  • You are analytical, commercially aware and able to navigate the technical components of our business.
  • You are tenacious, driven and willing to take on new challenges.
  • You have a keen desire to learn.
  • You stay across the detail and see projects through to ensure successful results.
  • Ideally you will be tertiary qualified in business, science or a related field.
