Lead Software Development Manager

We are seeking an exceptional technical leader to spearhead our software development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our engineering department, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with a proven track record of managing high-performing teams and delivering complex projects on time. They will be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage technical expertise to inform business strategy and drive decision-making
  • Develop and execute plans to improve team performance and efficiency
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and career growth

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on leadership and management
  • Proven track record of managing high-performing teams and delivering complex projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's degree preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with agile methodologies and version control systems
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and containerization
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, C++)
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools
