About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Panel Beater to join our team in Australia wide. As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing vehicles to a high standard, ensuring safety and quality in all aspects of your work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate PPE is worn at all times.
- Report any safety incidents or near misses to the Production Manager or Centre Manager.
- Clock on and off each day to reflect attendance and ensure you are always clocked onto a job or task.
- Receive and check parts for damage, ensuring they are correct and in good condition.
- Disassemble vehicles as per Job Sheets, labeling and storing parts accordingly.
- Notate broken parts and extra repairs, submitting to the Estimator for authorization.
- Repair vehicles to the Repair Method and in accordance with Estimates and Job Sheets.
- Prep and prime vehicles as required, following paint suppliers' SOP.
- Reassemble vehicles as per Job Sheets, handling them with due care and attention.
- Ensure appropriate usage of consumables and materials, avoiding wastage.
- Comply with company QA standards, signing QA Sheets to confirm.
- Clean workbays and workshops as required.
- Handle company tools and equipment with care, ensuring they remain safe, clean, and in good condition.
- Coach apprentices as assigned.
- Undertake all lawful and reasonable requests from management.
About You:
We are looking for a Trade Qualified Panel Beater with a minimum of 3 years' experience. You must be physically fit, have excellent English communication skills, and be willing to learn. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential, as well as the ability to meet strict deadlines and work effectively with the team.
What We Offer:
