Job Overview

As a Technical Standards Engineer at SA Power Networks, you'll play a vital role in shaping our distribution network's technical standards. This includes developing, reviewing, and implementing standards to support safe and reliable operations.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Ensuring technical standards align with regulatory and industry requirements
  • Driving innovation in standard designs, promoting continuous improvement
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to meet operational needs
  • Supporting risk assessments and maintaining WHS and environmental standards
  • Managing document control processes for accurate technical records

About You

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Significant experience in technical documentation and standards development
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including risk assessments and compliance
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, influencing stakeholders effectively
  • Experience in project management and technical documentation
