Position Overview
Ventia is on the lookout for an exceptional HVAC Technician to become a vital part of our Defence Team. This role is stationed at a key military base, where you will play an essential role in the upkeep, repair, and enhancement of advanced HVAC systems and facilities.

This is not your standard work schedule; it is a full-time, permanent position with hours from 07:00am to 03:30pm on weekdays, along with significant opportunities for overtime. Enjoy the convenience of a company-provided vehicle to ensure you are well-equipped to meet daily challenges.

The hourly compensation for this role is $42.72.

Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for this position, candidates must be Australian Citizens and agree to undergo a police background check.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC systems
  • Contributing to the overall maintenance of the site
  • Conducting both reactive and scheduled preventative maintenance using mobile technology
  • Performing cleaning, adjustments, repairs, and warranty services efficiently
  • Documenting inspection results with objective quality evidence
  • Providing availability for after-hours and on-call work as necessary

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Valid WA Driver's Licence
  • Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
  • Refrigerant Handling Licence
  • Experience in HVAC roles across various environments including residential, commercial, and industrial
  • Willingness to travel to different sites as required
