We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Oncology and Haematology department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with our medical and surgical teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based nursing care to patients receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy, as well as other infusions for conditions such as Crohn's and MS.
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Ensure patient and staff safety through effective risk management and quality improvement initiatives.
- Deliver education and support to individuals and patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs.

What We're Looking For- Current registration with AHPRA.
- Working with Children check.
- Ideal 3 years of nursing experience with some understanding of oncology and haematology nursing care.
- Ideal experience administering cytotoxic chemotherapy and/or related cancer treatments.
- Competency in PICC, PORT, IV cannulation, and phlebotomy skills or working towards.
- ADAC qualification, CVAD management experience, and high-level computer literacy.
- Commitment to quality patient care.
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team.
- Basic computer skills.
