Data Analyst Storyteller

Job Description:
  • Analyse and interpret large data sets to identify newsworthy stories and trends.
  • Develop and produce data-driven stories that are accurate, engaging, and informative.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate complex information in an accessible manner.

Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Data Journalist or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of data-driven stories and visualisations.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation tools, particularly Flourish and Infogram.
  • Strong storytelling skills with the ability to convey complex information in an accessible and engaging manner.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced newsroom environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
