As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for utilizing your clinical decision-making abilities to aid individuals in their recovery from injury or illness. You will develop and implement recover at work plans, job task analysis, labour market analysis, and job seeking canvassing.

You will handle cases related to return-to-work for various types of insurance referrals, including Workers Compensation, Comcare, CTP, and Life Insurance. You will conduct appropriate evaluations, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments (ADLs), to offer comprehensive assistance.

You will collaborate and communicate with clients, employers, medical professionals, and other allied health professionals to ensure holistic care. Your responsibilities will also include report writing.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Physiotherapy, as well as full AHPRA registration or ESSA. You will also require unrestricted Australian Working Rights and a current driver's license with a comprehensively insured vehicle.
