About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Strategist to join our Sydney team at Orchard Marketing Pty. as a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover. As a key member of our Orchard Experience Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive digital strategies that drive business growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute digital strategies that align with client objectives and target audience insights.
  • Lead the digital strategy on iconic clients across pharmaceutical, tourism, and financial service sectors.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business challenges and opportunities.
  • Implement digital strategies, ensuring effective tactics, content, and media delivery.
  • Work closely with data and channel experts to review reporting and campaign data, providing holistic digital insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Run reporting calls and strategic review sessions with clients.
  • Provide oversight and support for paid media across social channels and search.
  • Lead digital content strategy and support teams in crafting effective social and digital content.
  • Work with UX, data, and development teams to advise on enhancing the digital experience and ensuring alignment to the digital strategy.
  • Develop channel ecosystems to reach and engage key audiences.
  • Work with client media agencies on strategy development and implementation.
Requirements
  • 7+ years' experience in a strategic/planning function.
  • Experience working with healthcare clients is required.
  • Proven ability to develop comprehensive digital plans and optimize the digital presence.
  • Deep experience in social media and paid social media, particularly with Meta, and full funnel strategy across digital media channels.
  • Experience in identifying and partnering with social media creators for content development is a plus.
  • Experience in supporting/advising clients on channel governance across Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Ability to facilitate and lead client workshops to uncover business problems.
  • Confident to lead, develop, and present pitch-winning strategies.
  • Highly skilled communicator with the ability to convert complex analysis into simple and actionable strategies.
  • Proven ability to work within a team.
