Workplace Law Solicitor Job

This is a key role within our Workplace Law Team, where you will deliver high quality legal advice and services in respect of workplace law matters to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary legal qualifications and experience in employment law. You will be responsible for providing professional, thorough and effective legal services to achieve the best outcome for our clients.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high quality legal advice and services in respect of workplace law matters.
  • Provide a professional, thorough and effective legal service to achieve the best outcome for our clients.
  • Deal with a broad remit of workplace law issues including compliance, termination, discrimination, investigations and disciplinary matters.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Key Qualifications and Skills:
  • Relevant tertiary legal qualifications.
  • Eligible to hold an unsupervised practising certificate as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court and the High Court of Australia.
  • Demonstrated post-admission experience in respondent and/or applicant employment law.
  • Personal Qualities:
  • Able to express ideas effectively with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of prioritisation, time management and self-management skills.
  • Good computer literacy and competency to work in an electronic document management environment.
