About YouYou are a qualified Telecommunications Technician who is committed to providing timely and effective solutions to our clients.
You confidently apply your technical skills and customer service mindset to troubleshoot and problem-solve telecommunications equipment problems, while following safe work practices.
You have experience in the installation, maintenance, and service of communications, sensing/telemetry, or similar electronics systems, and want to grow your career in a supportive team environment.
About Your New RoleReporting to the Operations Manager, you will join our skilled technical and projects team who install and maintain telecommunications systems for our valued clients.
Whilst prior experience working with critical communications technologies or on mine or industrial sites is an advantage, it is not essential.
We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support, so you can confidently install, fault-find, repair, and maintain equipment in the field.
This role offers flexibility to suit your lifestyle - you can travel to clients' sites and be home most nights, or opt for a 7 on/7 off roster to maximize time with loved ones, or to enjoy your hobbies.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and configure IP networks Repair, maintain, and install radio communication, CCTV systems, and wireless networks, Fault identification and repair, Conduct RF active and passive site surveys, Respond to equipment issues and problem solve to achieve positive outcomes in a timely manner, Assist with commissioning and start-up of new installations, Liaise with vendors, suppliers, engineers, and site-based resources as required, Work with engineering and project teams to develop technical solutions for clients, Work both in an office environment and onsite with our customers and partners.
Essential CriteriaCert III or IV in Telecommunications or Electronics, Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills and a proactive approach, Positive attitude, highly self-motivated with strong attention to detail, Demonstrated ability to follow instructions, work with minimal supervision, and collaboratively within a team, Excellent communication and customer service abilities, Commitment to safety and continuous learning, Valid Australian manual C class drivers license and ability to travel as required.
DesirableDemonstrated experience in the installation, maintenance, and fault identification of digital radio systems, Experience in IP network technologies, configuration, and fault identification, Initial response first aid certificate (or higher), Working at Heights (high risk license with EWP over 11m), and in Enclosed Spaces, Cisco qualifications, Rajant certification or experience, ACMA OPEN Licence (including structured, coaxial, optic fibre endorsements), Defence experience desirable.
