Job Summary

This is an opportunity to develop software solutions in a collaborative environment.



About the Role

The successful candidate will perform research and design assignments within a specific software functional area or product line, contributing to the development of system components of moderate complexity.



Responsibilities
  • Write and review specifications for software development assignments.
  • Implement simple bug fixes.
  • Collaborate with other development team members to translate product requirements into software designs.
  • Operate in various development environments while collaborating with stakeholders.
  • Resolve technical issues as necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with new technology developments.


Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/computer science or equivalent required.


Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in data manipulation languages.
  • Ability to work with simple data models.
  • Proficiency in development languages including but not limited to Rust, C/C++, UNIX, and .Net.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices such as code coverage.
  • Basic knowledge of software development methodologies like Agile/Waterfall.
  • Knowledge of data storage subsystems.
  • Knowledge of test-driven development.
  • Ability to learn new processes and technologies.
  • Basic oral and written communication skills.
