About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Turf Management Specialist to join our team at Green by Nature. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing turf areas to ensure they remain lush, healthy, and resilient.

Reporting to the Site Manager, this hands-on role involves performing regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating, and topdressing to uphold the quality and playability of turf surfaces. You will also be responsible for monitoring turf health and proactively addressing issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction through appropriate cultural and chemical practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance tasks to maintain turf quality and playability.
  • Monitor turf health and address issues through cultural and chemical practices.
  • Implement sustainable turf management practices, including water conservation strategies and pest management techniques.
  • Operate and maintain specialized turf equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with the landscaping team to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their expectations and provide turf care recommendations.

About You:

  • Certificate III in Sports Turf Management.
  • Cricket Wicket experience (desirable).
  • Previous experience in turf management, greenkeeping, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of turfgrass species, growth habits, and maintenance requirements.
  • Familiarity with turf care equipment and machinery, including mowers, aerators, and sprayers.
