About The Role

This is a unique opportunity to work as a Registered Nurse in a remote environment. You will be responsible for providing professional and high-level first aid services, emergency healthcare, and occupational health and hygiene services.

As a valuable member of the team, your experience as a registered nurse in remote or regional areas will be highly regarded. You will be working in a dynamic environment where you can make a real difference in people's lives.

The role requires a calm and decisive presence in high-pressure situations, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for managing patient records and sensitive health data while ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory standards.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Emergency medical treatment and pre-hospital trauma care
  • First aid and injury management
  • Management of the site medical centres and emergency medical equipment
  • Maintaining external relationships with RFDS, Townsville, Mt Isa & Dajarra health professionals
  • Recording and maintaining accurate health statistics and records
You'll Also Need To Have:
  • Minimum 5 years post-grad experience in emergency nursing
  • Advanced life support & pre-hospital trauma life support qualifications
  • Strong computer literacy, including experience with Medical Director, Atlas, and SharePoint
  • A meticulous approach to record keeping and secure management of patient data
