Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

We're seeking a skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of mobile and fixed plant equipment at our quarry site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mobile plant and equipment (Haul Truck, Excavator, and/or Front-End Loader) safely and efficiently.
  • Manage the operation of the crushing plant with precision.
  • Perform basic maintenance and maintain plant cleanliness.
  • Engage in problem-solving and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Participate in safety initiatives, including pre-start checks, toolbox talks, and incident reporting.

Requirements:

  • Experience with mobile plant operation is highly regarded.
  • HR truck licence is advantageous but not required.
  • Quarry experience is valued but not necessary.
  • Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision.
  • Available to work Monday to Saturday.
