About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Algorithm Engineer to join our development team in Sydney. This is an exceptional opportunity for a result-driven individual to contribute to the development of our RfAI projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop state-of-the-art software methods to analyze and characterize signals in the RF spectrum
  • Develop algorithms to be deployed onto embedded platforms that utilize Software Defined Radios (SDR), Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technology, Digital Signal Processing (DSP) modules, and Graphic Processing Units (GPU)
  • Develop probabilistic simulation environments to assist with algorithmic model training and validation
  • Analyze complex time series, spectral, and spatial datasets
  • Provide technical guidance in the field of algorithm design and mathematical modeling
  • Work closely with other software engineers to integrate and optimize algorithmic models to run efficiently into production software architectures
  • Document and maintain the code base supporting developed software and algorithms
Requirements
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of algorithms development experience
  • Electronic Warfare (EW) experience is highly valued
  • Ability to research, design, and integrate complex algorithms and mathematical models into high-performance software operating on sensor data
  • Experience with digital signal processing techniques, time-series analysis, sensor fusion, and probabilistic simulation
  • Experience with RF spectrum analysis is highly favorable
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Matlab
  • Ability to translate business logic and objectives into briefs, executing on those ideas by generating well-functioning analytical models
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, communicating effectively with engineers from non-software/data science backgrounds
