Job Description

We are seeking a talented Rehabilitation Counsellor to join our team in Darwin as a full-time or part-time employee.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives by providing excellent customer care and delivering top-notch rehabilitation services.

  • This role involves working closely with clients, insurers, medical practitioners, and employers to achieve positive outcomes for all parties.
  • You will be responsible for conducting assessments, designing return-to-work programs, and liaising with stakeholders to ensure successful rehabilitation outcomes.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in rehabilitation counselling, work collaboratively with a dynamic team, and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting psychological assessments and vocational evaluations to identify clients' needs and abilities.
  • Designing and implementing personalized return-to-work plans that cater to clients' unique circumstances.
  • Liaising with clients, insurers, and employers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration throughout the rehabilitation process.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in rehabilitation counselling and current registration with ASORC.
  • An excellent understanding of workplace rehabilitation principles and practices.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • A keen sense of punctuality and effective time management skills.
