Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Researcher in Sustainable Agriculture to join our team. This fixed-term position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative agricultural initiatives, driving national and international impact.

The successful candidate will lead research programs of significant scope and scale, securing funding from national and international competitive agencies. They will foster meaningful relationships with industry stakeholders and professional bodies, while delivering excellent research training at the postgraduate level.

This role requires an outstanding national record of research distinction and impact in agriculture, with a focus on delivering outcomes leading to resilience and enhanced sustainability measures. The appointee will demonstrate inspirational leadership, promoting a culture of engagement, collaboration, and commitment.

The salary for this position is $135,388-$155,696 per annum, plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation.
