About the Role

Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for design, simulation, and manufacture of products across various industries. Our software plays a crucial role in conceiving and manufacturing innovative products such as Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many everyday objects.

We are seeking an experienced Defence Industry Software Sales Growth Expert to grow our Siemens PLM Software business in Australia's Defence industry. As part of our Software sales team, you will handle consultative and value-added software sales engagements with customers and prospects. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing a cohesive customer sales strategy to drive the sale of our software.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and analyse sales volumes and potential of target Defence industry customers
  • Provide information via CRM for forecasts and planning
  • Analyse customer markets, strategy, position, and needs
  • Investigate specific business opportunities for customer-related product and service portfolios
  • Build and maintain customer-focused networks to develop both customer and industry sector expertise systematically
  • Negotiate projects, proposals with other professionals and management
  • Coordinate assignments and set up respective product developments, projects, or services programs for customers
Requirements
  • Australian citizenship and based in Australia
  • Graduate in Mechanical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of software sales experience with a validated track record in Defence industry customers
  • Experience in selling PLM software, vendor, or reseller market experience capacity with subscription business model highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex software selling environments with proven ability to achieve targets
  • Good business insights for handling forecasts and targets
  • Good working knowledge in selling Enterprise Software and leading accounts around the ANZ region

The estimated salary for this role is AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
