About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Pacific Smiles in Aspley. As a key member of our oral health care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists with chair-side procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
  • Prepare and maintain dental equipment, instruments, and treatment rooms to the highest standards of hygiene and sterility.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling phone calls.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and protocols.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and infection control.
