Canteen Assistant Role

We are seeking a team member to provide healthy and quality food services to staff and students in our busy canteen environment. This is an ideal position for someone with excellent interpersonal skills who enjoys working in a customer-facing role.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with our team, performing kitchen duties including food preparation and cleaning dishes. They will also assist with food and beverage sales via POS terminal and maintain general cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the service area.

This part-time role involves approximately 18-20 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday 8am-2:30pm, with all school holidays off.

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess:

  • Previous experience working in a similar environment (desirable)
  • Great customer service and communication skills

In addition, applicants must be willing to obtain the following certifications:

  • Working With Children Check (Employment)
  • NDIS Worker Screen Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module

This is a casual position with flexible hours, making it perfect for those who want to balance work and personal life.
