About The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operations Specialist. Key responsibilities include:
  • Assisting customers with trade counter and phone sales enquiries, and following up with quotes, pricing, and product information in a timely manner.
  • Contributing to the customer service team by assisting other sales staff and counter sales.
  • Accurately entering cash sales, invoices, purchase orders, transfers, and picking slips into our computer system in a timely manner.
  • Arranging credits for incorrect pricing and returned goods at point of sale; identifying reasons for credit and rectifying problems to eliminate future credits.
  • Assisting with periodic stock checks to ensure shrinkage is kept within company KPIs.
  • Ensuring sufficient levels of stock are available and advising the purchasing department of stock requirements.
  • Becoming familiar with and having a strong working knowledge of our hose management program (HMP).
  • Picking, packing, and despatching of goods.
  • Receiving, unpacking, and storing goods in accordance with appropriate procedures.
  • Assisting with the maintenance and presentation of the showroom and warehouse, ensuring it is kept clean, tidy, and stocked in accordance with Company guidelines.
  • Hose and fittings assembly on new hydraulic and industrial hoses.
  • Delivering consistent and high-quality service to our customers.
This is a hands-on role that requires physical manual handling and heavy lifting for preparing customer orders for dispatch, as well as receipting and arranging storage of goods in accordance with appropriate procedures.

About You – Skills And Experience
  • Exceptional customer service focus, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in the industrial hose and hydraulics or similar background is preferred.
  • Knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
  • Able to lift heavy bulky items to handle stock and pick/pack goods.
  • Productive and willing team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Current driver's license and own reliable transport.
