Job Description

At Cuscal Limited, we're committed to driving client growth and innovation in the payments sector. As a Payment Industry Compliance Manager, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and embedding the payments industry compliance framework into our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Cuscal Compliance framework is updated and adhered to, including a current obligations register, waivers/exemptions register, breach and issues register, compliance calendars, and monitoring plan.
  • Support product domains in managing compliance risks and ensure timely delivery of payment industry reporting and audit.
  • Review scheme bulletins, mandates, and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with payment industry bodies and schemes, and liaise with schemes to manage waivers, data integrity outcomes, and resolve open actions.
  • Embed agile ways of working within product domains to ensure understanding of scheme changes and compliance activities.
  • Assist domains and clients in raising and managing issues, including internal escalation of potential scheme breaches and monitoring the status of business actions to resolve issues.
  • Manage the review of non-compliance to examine root cause and identify treatment actions.
  • Improve compliance maturity and management through key metrics, ensuring appropriate oversight of compliance items within the Domain backlog.
  • Perform Compliance reviews to ensure adherence to key obligations, interacting with auditors and overseeing clients.
  • Coordinate annual attestations from clients and other independent reviews.
  • Assist in identifying and assessing industry and regulatory changes.
  • Maintain documentation of key compliance processes and review existing processes to ensure they meet best practice.

About You:

We're looking for an experienced Payment Industry Compliance Manager with extensive compliance or regulatory experience in the financial services industry. You'll have a sound understanding of Compliance principles, structures, and processes within an agile environment. Proven evidence of strong relationship management, presentation, negotiation skills, and the ability to positively influence is essential.
