\This position involves overseeing farming operations, including cattle mustering, health checks, vaccinations, medical treatment, transportation, and management. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and conducting farming activities such as breeding and raising livestock through sustainable methods, assisting with calving and artificial insemination, and maintaining paddock fencing, equipment, and water supply systems.
\The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of livestock health and nutrition, proven experience in breeding and raising livestock for meat production, and experience with farm equipment. They will also need to have excellent organisational and leadership skills, along with fiscal management knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
\The role requires the ability to effectively manage farming operations, direct and oversee general farming activities, maintain cattle feeding plans, and monitor market activity and trends in beef prices, feed costs, and consumer demand. The candidate should also have strong communication and people skills for effective collaboration with the team.
