About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled face artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and have experience working with pre-wedding photoshoots.

The successful applicant will work closely with clients to achieve their desired looks and stay up-to-date with the latest makeup trends.

This full-time position is available for an immediate start.

About You:

  • Relevant qualification with minimum 2 years experience
  • Portfolio showcasing photos of your work
  • National Police Check certificate (issued within last 12 months)
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

The Role Will Include:

  1. Stay updated on the latest make-up trends.
  2. Work closely with clients to achieve their desired looks.
  3. Coordinate with photographers for optimal visual results.
  4. Attend regular training to enhance skills.
  5. Handle client inquiries and appointments.
  6. Ensure make-up products are of high quality.
  7. Manage make-up inventory and restock as needed.
  8. Implement efficient time management during photoshoots.
  9. Contribute to the studio's social media presence.
  10. Uphold the studio's reputation for excellence.
  11. Embrace a collaborative and positive team spirit.
  12. Maintain a clean and organized make-up workspace.
  13. Participate in studio events and promotions.

Effective communication is crucial for understanding and meeting the client's expectations, ensuring a smooth collaboration throughout the bridal makeup process.

Bridal makeup requires precision and attention to detail to create flawless looks that withstand close scrutiny, especially in photography.

Efficient time management ensures that the bridal makeup process stays on schedule, considering the time constraints of a wedding day.

Keeping track of makeup products, tools, and schedules requires excellent organizational skills for a bridal makeup artist.

Providing exceptional customer service involves understanding and accommodating the bride's preferences while ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience.

A strong foundation in theoretical and practical makeup skills, including an understanding of period and current fashion trends, is essential for creating diverse bridal looks.

Keeping track of makeup products, tools, and schedules requires excellent organizational skills for a bridal makeup artist.

Salary range: $65,000 - $72,000 per year.

Working hours: 8 hour shift.
