About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in technology sales, with a focus on quota-carrying roles. They will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to translate customer business and technology priorities into technology solutions. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of consistent territory growth and quota achievement.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive adoption of AWS cloud solutions in a defined set of accounts to meet or exceed revenue targets through education and engagement
- Develop and execute against a strategic plan that leads to the creation of a robust sales pipeline, including opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business in untapped customers
- Manage numerous accounts concurrently and strategically
- Evaluate sales/metrics data from your accounts to help evolve your strategy
- Work with partners to manage joint selling opportunities when appropriate

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7 + years of technology sales experience with a focus on quota-carrying roles
- Experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology deals
- Translate customer business and technology priorities into technology solutions
- Experience in proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business
- Proven track record of consistent territory growth and quota achievement

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Experience driving new business in greenfield accounts at the C-suite level or equivalent
- Familiarity with the AWS Cloud Practitioner course, available free online on the AWS website
