Education Support Assistant

About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized support staff member to join our team. The successful applicant will have excellent time management skills and be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to teachers and staff across the school, ensuring that they have the resources and tools they need to deliver high-quality education to our students.
Main Responsibilities :
- Provide routine maintenance on air compressors, dust extraction systems, and other equipment
- Organize and maintain resources rooms and teacher's aide stores
- Undertake regular inspections to identify and report any damage or maintenance issues
- Assist with general tidiness of workshops and rooms
- Support with yearly stocktake and assist with the repair and maintenance of student workbenches
- Identify purchasing needs for materials and consumables
- Apply regular maintenance to machines and equipment using the Equipment Maintenance Report
Requirements :
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and report any issues
- Good communication skills and ability to work with staff at all levels
- Knowledge of maintenance and repair procedures
