The Role We Are Seeking To Fill
We currently have an opening for a Hospitality Service worker to join our team at Wearne House, our residential facility in Mandurah. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing cleaning and laundry routines, maintaining resident interactions, and responding to emergency cleaning requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, and mopping all designated areas to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
- Maintaining appropriate resident interactions in line with our organisational values, considering resident lifestyles and personal choice.
- Developing effective interpersonal relationships with colleagues and residents, utilising appropriate channels for assistance, guidance, and concerns.
- Responding to emergency cleaning requirements as directed, prioritising the needs of our residents.
Requirements For The Position
- Experience working in hospitality service roles, preferably as a cleaner in an aged care/hospital environment.
- Able to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity).
- Successful completion of pre-employment physical and reference checks.
- NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain at interview stage).
- Effective communication skills and ability to develop understanding relationships with residents.
