We are seeking an experienced and qualified Senior ICT Business Analyst to join our core team in Western Australia.

Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for a Senior ICT Business Analyst (Cyber Security) to play an important role in guiding clients through the complexities of IT and cybersecurity, ensuring that their systems are secure, compliant, and aligned with business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic consulting services to clients, advising on IT solutions and cybersecurity best practices to meet business objectives and enhance security posture.
- Work closely with users to formulate and document precise business requirements, ensuring a clear understanding of desired outcomes and system needs.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their business needs, and ensuring that IT and cybersecurity strategies align with their goals.
- Design and oversee the implementation of end-to-end integrated systems, ensuring that cybersecurity considerations are integrated at every stage.
- Conduct high-level risk assessments for clients, evaluating their cybersecurity posture, and recommending strategic improvements.
- Guide clients through the complexities of cybersecurity regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring that their systems and processes are up-to-date.
- Stay at the forefront of technology and cybersecurity trends to provide innovative solutions that give clients a competitive edge.
- Ensure that cybersecurity measures are integrated into all business activities and that IAM best practices are incorporated into business processes and projects.
- Oversee the management of user access rights, ensuring compliance with access control policies, and managing the user lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
- Conduct regular security audits to ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies and regulations, and participate in the resolution of security incidents related to unauthorized access or identity theft.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Australian work rights.
- Current and relevant industry experience at least at the level being assessed.
- Proficiency in various security technologies, tools, and technologies backed by foundational and associate-level certifications is highly desirable.
- Relevant cyber security experience working in the higher education or government sectors are advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work closely with stakeholders to understand and deliver business and system requirements.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and training skills.
- Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence concepts, tools, frameworks, and solutions from leading vendors is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and agile project delivery methodologies.
