Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for developing architectural designs that align with our strategic initiatives and operational needs. Your primary goal will be to guide the future of our technological landscape by defining IT architectures, standards, and solutions that meet stakeholder requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop solution architectures that align with our strategic initiatives and operational needs.
  2. Monitor and evaluate our current technology landscape to identify deficiencies and make informed technological decisions.
  3. Lead the design and implementation of solution architectures across various business applications and technologies.
  4. Deliver standards, models, and architectural designs to support governance and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Advanced knowledge of Financial Systems; core banking systems, payment platforms, and other financial transaction processing systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to define IT architectures, standards, and solutions and to get stakeholder agreement on those architectures, standards, solutions.
  • Experience with API Lifecycle Management.
  • Experience or familiarity with AWS Cloud Services, Data, Design and Cloud adoption frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide projects and deliver outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce solution designs and artefacts within agile ways of working.
  • Technical acumen with AWS services, PaaS, IaaS, Security, networking, and infrastructure.
  • Experience in working in Agile and Waterfall environments with an ability to adapt to differing project methodologies.
