Experienced Payroll Manager Wanted

The payroll team in Melbourne CBD is seeking an experienced and skilled professional to manage high-volume payroll processes for both Australia and New Zealand, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Process fortnightly and monthly payrolls using ELMO and NZ payroll systems efficiently and accurately.
- Interpret relevant awards and enterprise bargaining agreements to ensure compliance.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and handle terminations professionally.
- Manage leave, sickness, overtime reports, and respond to payroll queries promptly and effectively.
- Ensure payroll reporting complies with statutory obligations and meets regulatory requirements.
- Calculate superannuation and payroll taxes correctly and accurately.
- A minimum of 5 years of end-to-end payroll processing experience.
- Experience with ELMO and NZ payroll systems is highly desirable but not essential.
- Strong Excel skills, including PivotTables and VLOOKUPs, are required.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and payroll tax calculations is necessary.
The position offers competitive hourly rates with a strong possibility of permanency. Interviews will be conducted via video conference or phone call.
