Job Opportunity

This is a chance to work in a diverse and interesting environment, maintaining water resource recovery assets. No two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance, support, and technical advice to the team.
  • Identify areas for improvement to enhance team performance.
  • Operate and maintain plant facilities in line with Water Resource Recovery frameworks, including health and safety protocols, quality management, and incident response procedures.
  • Conduct daily plant performance tests and adjust process control parameters.
  • Execute on-site asset checks using available systems and procedures.
  • Manage onsite safety and works coordination through implementation of safety procedures.
  • Participate in projects related to plant operations, including condition assessments, project prioritization, and working closely with project teams.
  • Collaborate with maintenance providers to ensure timely completion of work orders.
Requirements:
  • High-level knowledge and extensive experience in a similar role.
  • Trade qualifications or equivalent experience in engineering or science.
  • A current driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel across various locations.
  • The ability to commit to a rotating roster, including day shifts, after-hours standby, and weekend shifts.
  • Basic computer skills and comfort learning custom software packages.
