
Regional Business Development Specialist

The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in driving regional business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, and cultivating customer relationships to drive acquisition across diverse portfolios.
Job Responsibilities- Respond promptly to qualified customer enquiries and maintain accurate records from initial contact through to onboarding, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Develop and manage an effective customer pipeline and contact database to foster engagement and drive growth.
- Coordinate application and onboarding documentation for new customers, streamlining the process for enhanced customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure best practice outcomes and promote a positive customer experience.
- Establish strong relationships with customers, families, carers, service providers, and community members to build trust and loyalty.
- Represent the organization at networks and promotional events, sharing insights and learnings to enhance regional business development.
- Promote services to attract new customers and track enquiry outcomes for informed reporting.
- Identify regional opportunities and communicate them effectively through clear reporting, enabling data-driven decision making.
- Tertiary qualification in Business Management or a related field.
- 3+ years' experience in business or customer service management, with a proven track record of success.
- Proven background in customer-facing roles within values-driven organizations, demonstrating empathy and a customer-focused approach.
- Experience in cultural change and workforce capability building, with a solid understanding of contemporary Disability Services and person-centred approaches.
- Strong community engagement and relationship-building skills, with excellent communication skills adaptable to diverse audiences.
- Proactive, goal-oriented, and confident in decision-making, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- High computer literacy and comfort with technology, with a willingness to adapt to new systems and processes.
- Empathetic, customer-focused, and business-savvy, with a passion for driving regional business growth.
- Experience in the Disability Services sector, with a strong understanding of the industry's challenges and opportunities.
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect with people from all walks of life, fostering inclusive relationships and partnerships.
