We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of our multi-user computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and maintaining administrator and service accounts, as well as system documentation.
  • Tuning system performance to ensure optimal efficiency.
  • Installing system-wide software and allocating mass storage space.
  • Supporting and maintaining an extensive server platform and related applications.
  • Utilizing enterprise-wide monitoring platforms to identify and resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Collaborating with business technology groups to administer, support, and manage existing infrastructure deployments and functions.
  • Participating in agile sprints and providing user representation during testing.
  • Supporting Change Management activities and the transition of solutions into production and operational use.
  • Developing plans, procedures, work instructions, manuals, and other technical documentation for use by personnel.
  • Liaising with other teams through delivery and escalation processes of the team's tasks.
  • Planning, monitoring, and reporting on progress of activities within your team's assigned work packages.

Requirements:

  • Working experience in server, desktop, and active directory administration and support in a medium-to-large scale environment, preferably in the public or defence sector.
  • A comparable amount of experience administering a multi-domain/Active Directory user environment over a wide area TCP/IP network.
  • Windows Active Directory and other related technologies such as DHCP, DNS, etc.
  • Networking, Storage, and Backup experience.
