About the Opportunity

We are seeking passionate and driven individuals to fill skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer positions in support of the C-130J Hercules.

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will work under direct supervision, learning to carry out inspection, testing, repair, modification, and installation of aircraft hydro-mechanical and flight system components, and aircraft engines subassemblies and components.

You will be responsible for meeting the technical and professional commitments of the role, with the outcome of achieving a Certificate IV Aeroskills (Mechanical, Structures or Avionics).

The typical structure of this role will see you apply knowledge from your theory studies within the workplace, and on-the-job competency acquisition as demonstrated through an experience journal.

Your theory studies will be completed at Padstow TAFE, and you will be supported by experienced members of our team who love what they do.

Upon completion of your training, there are opportunities for ongoing employment as a qualified Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, and development opportunities to obtain a Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML) with a C-130J type rating.
