Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative mechanical maintenance inspections on mobile fleet to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Conduct maintenance and breakdown repairs to fleet of mobile plant, including component change outs and system testing.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with heavy equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to industry standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a heavy diesel mechanic or diesel fitter in the roads environment.
  • Australian recognized trade or Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate (Diesel mechanic, Diesel Fitter or Automotive Mechanic).
  • Working rights in Australia and relevant trade qualifications.
  • Knowledge of operations, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mobile plant and equipment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and excellent time management skills.
