Role Overview

This is a permanent part-time opportunity for a Medical Laboratory Technician to join our pathology services team at Bathurst Health Service.

The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering high-quality pathology services and making a positive impact on patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Pathology Services Delivery: Deliver high-quality pathology services, ensuring accurate results and efficient turnaround times.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery and exceptional patient outcomes.

Customer Focus: Provide excellent customer service, displaying strong interpersonal skills and effective communication strategies.

Requirements

Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in medical laboratory science or a related field are required.

Experience: A minimum of 12 months experience working in a medical laboratory setting is necessary.

Driver's Licence: Current NSW driver's licence is mandatory.

Additional Information

This is a Category A position, and all applicants must read and understand the NSW Health Policy Directive on Occupational Assessment, Screening, and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases.

To be eligible for permanent appointment, applicants must have Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.
