Empowering Lives through Behaviour Support

As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in empowering adults and children in community settings to live more fulfilling lives. Your responsibilities will include conducting person-centred assessments and planning with individuals, families, and carers, developing and implementing evidence-based positive behaviour support plans, promoting the elimination of restrictive practices through education and practical strategies, and working collaboratively to build capacity in families, carers, and support networks.

This role requires an extensive understanding of the NDIS framework and experience in supporting individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviours. You will be qualified Behaviour Support Practitioners or professionals with extensive experience in the disability sector.

Key skills and qualifications for this role include:

  • Extensive experience working within the NDIS framework.
  • Strong report writing skills and ability to translate assessment findings into clear, actionable plans.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to balance a dynamic caseload.
  • Proactive, solution-focused attitude with excellent people skills.
