The primary objective of this position is to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate excavator to dig holes and trenches, removing and transporting earth, gravel, and other materials as required.
- Operate bulldozer or grader to gouge out, level, and distribute soil, sand, ore, rock, and industrial byproducts with precision.
- Transport and dump loose materials such as sand, soil, rock, and coal using trucks equipped with dump bodies.
- Lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage, loading, or processing areas utilizing front-end loaders.
- Compact soil, sand, rock, gravel, or industrial byproduct materials to a specific compaction requirement using compactors.
- Adequate knowledge of EPA, OSHA, MSHA, and other related state and federal regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret various documents including safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Proficiency in using email, smartphones, tablets, or computers for managing company information and documents.
- Consistency in maintaining acceptable attendance standards per employee guidelines.
