C.A.P.S Coolgardie is a pioneering Christian-Focused Parent-Directed Aboriginal School established in 1981 to address the educational needs of Aboriginal people. With three campuses across Western Australia, our school strives to empower young Aboriginal leaders through culturally relevant education.
About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Education Leader to join our team as a School Principal. This is an unparalleled opportunity to shape the educational outcomes of our students and contribute to the growth of our school community. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality educational programs, fostering a positive school culture, and providing visionary leadership. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing effective educational strategies that meet the unique needs of our students
- Mentoring and supporting staff to ensure they are equipped to deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences
- Building strong relationships with local communities, parents, and stakeholders to promote student success
- Overseeing the planning, implementation, and assessment of curriculum programs
- Liaising with government agencies, boards, and other external partners to ensure alignment with educational policies and initiatives
About You
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Education Leader who can inspire and motivate our students, staff, and community. To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following key qualities:
- A personal commitment to promoting the values and ethos of Christianity
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and engage staff and students
- An unwavering focus on delivering high-quality educational outcomes, with a particular emphasis on closing the gap for Indigenous students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Significant experience in educational leadership, preferably in a senior leadership role
