**Governance Role Overview**

The Head of Governance, Risk & Technology is responsible for leading a core squad within the organization to deliver sourcing training through a Sourcing Academy.

This role involves building governance, playbooks and processes for tendering, direct negotiations and value chain engineering projects. The successful candidate will work across the organization to continue development of systems and technology to support business operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and lead the sourcing plan for Tribe and Agile delivery
  • Demonstrate horizontal leadership and stakeholder engagement to manage key stakeholders across the organization
  • Provide governance and compliance through capability to develop the commercial elements of supply contracts including specification, price review mechanism, delivery & tenure in consultation with the legal team
  • Provide risk mitigation through monitoring existing business and supply base. Proactively mitigate risks through dual supply and fully integrated supply strategies to support sales growth and sales during crises
  • Work collaboratively across key stakeholder groups (Commercial, Wholesale, Export & wider ecosystem) to deliver to the Own Brand sourcing plan and broader strategic initiatives
  • Support prioritisation and phasing of the Agile transformation

Requirements:

  • Solid experience in transformational governance and process in sourcing teams to deliver value.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and capabilities - leading, coaching, developing teams
  • Display evidence of passion for food and its source of origin. Love of food, geographies of where it is grown and awareness of food trends
  • You will bring strategic and commercial thinking, commercial insight and a growth mindset
  • A minimum of 8+ years professional experience - with experience in Retail or FMCG fast-paced working environment
