Senior Philanthropy Manager

The Senior Manager, Philanthropy will be responsible for identifying and stewarding prospective major donors, developing strong, mutually beneficial relationships and growing income from high net worth individuals, philanthropic advisors, and private ancillary funds.
This newly-created role will suit an experienced best practice fundraiser and key relationship manager who can develop robust pipelines, secure funding to meet revenue targets and is energised for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to grow major gifts revenue
- Identify and steward prospective major donors
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with philanthropic supporters
- Lead a regional team of major gift managers to engage and deepen relationships with philanthropic supporters
Requirements:
- 5+ years of management and relationship fundraising experience
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding financial targets through attracting new philanthropic donors
- Experience in presenting to high net worth individuals and philanthropic advisors
- Highly developed, engaging and professional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to persuade and inspire
- Strong relationship building and management skills
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing small to medium-sized teams
- Sound reporting and Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Broad knowledge of best practice major donor relationship management and the philanthropic landscape in Australia
