Job Description:

Experienced Metal Fabricators are sought by a leading manufacturer in Victoria to work on various projects including metal tank fabrication. This permanent role offers a stable career path with standard working hours.

  • Metal sheet folding and cutting
  • Riveting and assembling tank panels, including roofing
  • Tank sealing and connecting/disconnecting tank plumbing

A strong background in manufacturing, combined with experience in roofing and plumbing, will be highly advantageous. Relevant qualifications and certifications like a forklift licence and white card are also beneficial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sheet Metal Folding: Perform metal sheet folding operations as required
  2. Cutting and Riveting: Cut and rivet metal sheets according to specifications
  3. Assembling Tank Panels: Assemble tank panels, including roofing
  4. Tank Sealing: Seal tanks to prevent leaks and ensure structural integrity
  5. Connecting/Disconnecting Plumbing: Connect and disconnect tank plumbing components as needed

The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment. A team player who is able to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines will thrive in this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in metal fabrication or a related field
