Culinary Artist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team at D' La Rosa located in Mermaid. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to the highest quality standards.

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and cooking equipment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and effective communication.
• Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas and suggestions.
• Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

• Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for food presentation.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
