Resident Boarding Tutor Position

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as a Resident Boarding Tutor at St Hilda's School.

About the Role:

  • Provide support to House Supervisors with the general routine of the house.
  • Offer pastoral care and academic support to girls in their care.
  • Complete overnight duties from 10.00pm – 7.00am four nights per week.
  • Assist with early wake-up calls for boarders, accompany boarders on outings, supervise a house, extra tutoring or organize extra activities.
  • Participate in the Australian Boarding Schools Association Duty of Care Course and maintain relevant qualification.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Ability to relate to adolescent girls and their carers.
  • Hold, or be eligible to apply for, a Paid Blue Card prior to appointment.
  • Have their name submitted to the Anglican Church's Professional Standards Register.
  • Support the Anglican ethos and Code of Conduct of St Hilda's School.
