Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Associate System Validation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic, and will be based in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the Testing & Laboratory Integration activities are performed well and contribute to achieving the System Validation objectives while increasing competitiveness in bids and efficiency in projects.
- Collect all the requirements, in terms of materials for the host and target environment, from the System Validation and Regional System & Signaling Integration teams, in order to manage laboratory activities, maximizing return from experience and minimizing costs and time.
- Ensure the requirements and expected features for the testing environments/tools, needed to execute the System Validation activities, are met.
- Ensure the continuous effective development of competencies, skills and knowledge of the assigned resources in alignment with the Company strategy and the Company competence management system.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of System Validation or Testing & Laboratory Integration Experience on ETCS systems (preferred, not mandatory).
- Background in Electrical Engineering; able to read and understand schematics, books of plans, and other mechanical drawings, or
- Background in SW development and testing, particularly in IEE1483 and EN 50128 standards
- Capability to integrate and maintain, in laboratory, different equipment and sub systems (sub system integration and system integration), in order to build the required testing environment.
- Ability to define and execute the test procedures to validate the system requirements and interfaces.
- Excellent communication skills
Education / Qualifications
Master's degree in Electric/Electronic/SW Engineering.
