Job Title: Small Animal Veterinary Medicine Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Medicine Specialist to join our dynamic team in Queensland, Australia.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To develop and review practice policies and procedures in collaboration with senior staff members.
  • To ensure compliance with all aspects of practice policy among the staff.
  • To implement practice and promotional activities as directed by senior management.
  • To undertake training and assist in the development of nursing and veterinary staff.
  • To supervise residents and interns, providing them with support in their studies.
  • To maintain accurate records, prepare practice accounts, and communicate effectively with clients.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in a busy general practice setting.
  • Relevant Veterinarian registration in QLD.
  • Excellent communication skills, including empathy and calmness in challenging situations.
  • The ability to multitask under pressure, problem-solve, and maintain attention to detail.
  • A compassionate and empathetic person with a strong work ethic.
