Job Description

At PowerData Group Consulting, we are seeking a highly skilled SAP HANA Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our SAP HANA system, including daily system health checks, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily system health checks and fine-tune performance issues prior to business hours.
  • Initiate in-house tests, perform troubleshooting, and resolve identified issues.
  • Monitor and provide expert advice on SAP Java systems, including system capacity and availability.
  • Monitor database load, activities, and take preventive measures to avoid high response times.
  • Provide assistance during system patching and kernel upgrades, as well as SAP HANA system administration tasks.
  • Perform table replication, SAP landscape transformation, and system replication.
  • Change Management and its sub-processes, including assessment, RFC logging, and review.
  • Provide technical assistance in resolving issues related to Business Objects, DQM, and Data Services.
  • Develop detailed cutover checklists and project plans, incorporating technical and operations tasks.
  • Work with system owners to develop test scopes, prepare for testing, and ensure remediation.
  • Provide cutover status reporting to project leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage system availability and load using third-party tools.
  • Work closely with Network Operations to monitor production systems and resolve issues.
  • Provide system support and perform technical troubleshooting to ensure 24/7 availability.
  • Troubleshoot SAP Business solutions, including CRM, ERP, SRM, S/4HANA, IDM, Fraud Management, BI/BW, BOBJ, BODS, DQM, and ESS.
  • Provide technical assistance in resolving migration, implementation, and post-Go-Live activities.
  • Resolve production incidents lodged via OpenText Service Manager.
Requirements:
  • Must have 5 years or more SAP BASIS experience in a large and complex environment.
  • Experience with multiple SAP Technologies, including CRM, PSCD, ERP, Java, HANA, and others.
  • Experience with Implementing Early Watch Alert Recommendations.
  • Experience with SAP ABAP and HANA performance tuning.
  • Experience with Incident Resolution and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Knowledge of SAP System Upgrade and associated tasks.
  • Experience with HANA & DB2 as the database platform for SAP Applications.
