About the Role:

The ETL Data Specialist will be responsible for automating data extraction and loading processes by writing SQL scripts within selected tools, performing technical and business reconciliation checks, and testing creation and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate data extraction and loading processes using SQL scripts
  • Perform technical and business reconciliation checks
  • Test creation and execution for requirements relating to data cleansing, Change Data Capture, and Event triggers
  • Raise and close defects when necessary
  • Provide status updates in the data space

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in database testing, data migration, data reconciliation, and data integrity testing (ETL/ELT approach)
  • Strong SQL skills to validate data from multiple sources like files, XMLs, and databases
  • Experience in automation testing using Python
  • Experience in performing data reconciliation testing
  • Experience in PowerBI testing
  • Able to read and understand complex transformation rules in the mapping document
  • Strong communication skills with ability to develop productive relationships with multiple stakeholders at all levels both written and verbally
  • Experienced in supporting UAT testing and functional testing of migrated data
  • Exposure to SAP testing
  • Exposure to BI Reports testing (Microsoft PowerBI)
  • Understanding of Data Security and Data Privacy
  • Knowledge of the testing lifecycle and methodology
